I love this holiday... and all the food that goes with it. haha.
I, along with my sweet husband and cute little boys, will be able to spend some time with family we haven't been able to see in awhile. We are beyond excited. How will you be celebrating this Thanksgiving?

okay. so my mom is very theme-y and her thanksgiving table has centerpieces similar to the good housekeeping ones you have in this blog. acorns in the hurricanes around the candles. she also has vintage canning jars with votive candles spread around and tiny little jars with pumpkin-shaped tea lights.
ReplyDeleteshe also has twine wrapped around the larger hurricanes and tied in bows. draping down. near where the pumpkin tea lights are.
last night we lit everything to see how it looked and we mayormaynot have had a small fire.
twine lights quickly. and does NOT blow out. it was like a trick candle that kept relighting until we dropped the whole thing in the sink and watered it.
let the thanksgiving fireworks begin!
So I'm loving the first one; especially for anyone who has family or friends serving over sea's... tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree... its the perfect time of year to be thankful for those guys!
ReplyDeleteI have eight thousand of those poky balls from the "Quick" centerpiece in my yard if you want them.
