Overwhelmed.

Life is crazy.

Right at the moment I have about 4 different to-do lists and nothing seems to be getting crossed off on any of those lists.

My goal was to have revamped my entire business (not too lofty of a goal...haha) by the second week of August.

Also, I am one of the graphic designers for a church plant by the name of Aletheia... maybe you have heard of it. ;) Aletheia (greek word for truth) is a collegiate church plant, that means, the end of summer is an all-out sprint to the finish line that is typically the third week of August. So, all of the projects that need to be in our hands by the end of August have to be completely designed and at the printer by... um... right now.

And most importantly I am a wife to said church plant's pastor. With that comes lots of responsibility... mainly keeping my husband sane. :) And I am a mom. Enough said.

So, to say that life is a little busy right now would be an understatement. The blogs may trail off a bit for a few weeks while I try to conquer those to-do lists, but rest assure I am here and I am working on great new designs and products for you.

Thank You Notes: For Free!

FREE Thank You cards I created just for you!
They were designed with weddings in mind, but I think you could use them for anything really.

{Directions}
1. Click on the image below with the card that you would like to print. (They will print two on a page.)
2. The image will appear in a new browser window (do not click to enlarge/zoom in, unless when it prints it is too small.)
3. Load any white, cream, ivory cardstock (from any craftstore) into your printer.
4. Right click on the image once you enlarge it and click print. (Uncheck the box that says 'fit to page.')
5. The cards will print two on a page, size 4.25 x 5.5 after they are folded.
6. If desired, you can score (to fold easier) along the 5.5 inch mark and then make one cut at 4.25.
7. Fold the cards and put them to good use!

{If you have any questions or would like me to send you the file directly
email me at info@ashleeproffitt.com}

*Note: These cards are creations by Ashlee Proffitt Design and are for your personal use only. Not for resale.

Wedding Gowns {Fairy Tale Wedding} Part 1

For the next month or so I will be introducing wedding inspired/related posts. (If you know someone who is engaged point them in my direction. And if you are already married or single, there is will still be lots of inspiration for you as well... don't worry!)

I will be introducing some great wedding products/accessories, wedding inspiration, as well as my own wedding invitations. There will also be some free downloads including Thank You cards, Favor Tags, etc that anyone will be able to use as well as do-it-yourself ideas for great weddings and receptions (or parties in general!)

So for today, I went on the search for handmade wedding gowns and I fell in love with Fairy Tale Wedding! I will be featuring them today and next Monday as well (I found too many that I loved to just post once!) Check out their shop yourself and then spread the word about these beautiful, unique, and custom hand-made wedding gowns!

On another note: Thanks so very much for all of your amazing comments in regards to new product ideas! I have not forgotten! Promise. Over the next few weeks I will be making some changes and improvements within the business and after all of that is complete I will introduce the new products (and the winner(s)!).

Love you all!

Favorite Finds - Handmade Journals

I love the unique quality of anything made by hand.

Each of these shops feature a very unique and distinct look. Their hand made journals are all so beautiful!

{by Baghy}

And if you want to try your hand at making your own journal, here is a great tutorial for a Button and String Mini Journal from The Creative Place, super cute. Here is another tutorial from The Creative Place for a unique and beautiful journal cover design: Woven Paper Journal Cover.

The Woven Paper Journal holds a special place in my heart... so I think you should try to make one for yourself and make it a place to capture your most very special memories.

New Ideas?

I want to come up with something new and unique...

My specialty is paper, contemporary graphic design, special occasions... so how can I incorporate those things into something that no one else is currently creating?

What would you like to see Ashlee Proffitt Design producing?

Is there something you have been looking for lately but can't seem to find exactly what you want?

I would love to hear from you.

Incentive to answer my questions and get your creative juices flowing?
The best idea wins a prize!
