Day 10 of Christmas

Great Christmas Story Books
(they serve as great reminders to us adults too!)
Song of the Stars by Sally Lloyd-Jones

God Gave Us Christmas by  Lisa Tawn Bergren & David Hohn

For the little, little ones
Who is Coming to Our House? by Joseph Slate & Ashley Wolff

Room for a Little One by Martin Waddell & Jason Cockcroft

Do you have a favorite Christmas story book that points to the true meaning of Christmas?
I would love to add it to my collection, so let me know!

  1. My favorite Christmas book is Humphrey's First Christmas - http://www.amazon.com/Humphreys-Christmas-Religion-Beliefs-General/dp/0824956168/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323653973&sr=8-1

Not gonna lie - the camel is CA-RAZY looking so the book is hilarious to me... I think it needs to be read in a really funny voice :-) BUT, the message is super sweet.

  2. Ashlee, I am LOVING your 25 Days series. I'm checking out your recipes and project advice, and I always print out your verse cards every day for a decoration on the front of our office door. You're so creative! (Understatement.) I was curious about whether you meant for this day's verse card to have a 2 or a 10? Thanks for posting every day! You are an inspiration!

  3. Thanks Kelley! Thanks so much for noticing the #2! I made the change to #10 so it should be good now. :)

  4. "The Fourth King: The Story of the Other Wise Man" by Ted Sieger. It's a take on "The Other Wise Man" by Henry Van Dyke (Also good, for grownups). A little weird, but if you like 'God gave us Christmas'--it's not any weirder than that. ;)

Max Lucado's "The Crippled Lamb" isn't bad, either.
