For the next 12 days I will be doing a Christmas(y) feature each day... decorating ideas, crafting ideas, gifting ideas, cooking ideas... along with a few sales, give-aways, free downloads. So check back often over the next 12 days of Christmas.
{Day 1 - Advent Calendar & Christmas Cards }
I got this super cute idea from Design Sponge via The Creative Place.
And I loved it! (You can download your own set of numbers here.)
However, purchasing mini envelopes wasn't in the budget so I used little tags with mini clothespins. Since the tags wouldn't allow me to use the traditional treats each day, I had the idea of printing little labels for the back of each tag. I thought it would be cute to have a little Christmas activity on the back of each day, along with a Bible passage that we could read as a family each day leading up to Christmas. (Please note that the mini tags are still without their cute labels. haha. Maybe tonight? Or next year?)
I still love it. With or without the labels. :)
Do you have any cute advent calendar ideas? What is the tradition in your family?

{Christmas Cards}
I have been crazy designing, printing, ordering, shipping Christmas cards this year! Yay. It has been a huge blessing to be a part of creating a beautiful Christmas card for you and your family to enjoy!
AND if you have not ordered your Christmas card, it isn't too late. Message me and we can get the cards ordered, designed, printed and shipped to you within a few days... still giving you a couple days to have them sent out and in mailboxes before Christmas day.
After Christmas I'll share some of the new designs from this year (after friends and family have seen them first... I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone!).
It's good to be back and I can't wait to share some fun ideas with you in the coming days!
I printed out the Christmas Bible story, divided out into 25 verse sets. Then cut the paper into strips. We have the kids color the strips while we tell the story focusing on the particular verses--and then string them together in a paper chain.
